Donna suffered with chronic lower back pain for a number of years before taking up Pilates and Yoga as a regular practice about 5 years ago. She quickly noticed how life changing the disciplines were and decided to study for her Level 3 Mat Pilates instructors course after retiring from the police service in 2018.
‘Pilates is an excellent form of exercise for all ages, it has been proven to help strengthen the back and core, whilst improving co-ordination, balance and flexibility.’
She is passionate about what she does and believes that by exercising in a ‘mindful’ way focussing on the breath, body and movement real progress can be made, which will help support anyone who is either managing ongoing pain of any kind or simply wants to improve their general health and wellbeing.
