Caitlan is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health and Care Professions Council (PH104639).

Graduated in 2014 from University of East Anglia, Norfolk, this programme instilled in her a great focus and ability to build creative, individualised and evidence-based rehabilitation programmes to aid patient recovery.

Caitlan is delighted to be working at the Estuary Clinic in Topsham. Prior to this, she has had the opportunity to work successfully as a physiotherapist in both private and NHS settings, thus exposing her to a great variety of patients, patient conditions, injuries, and impairments.

In her professional toolkit, she can assess: injury-specific, body region specific, biomechanics with a focus on posture as well as vestibular assessments. She is an active listener and will be guided by you and her specialised assessment to set a treatment plan and specific, achievable goals.

Caitlan has successfully treated a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This is not an exhaustive list, but a few examples include: sport injuries, tendinopathies, rotator cuff injuries, femoral-acetabular (hip) impingement, patellofemoral knee pain, post ACL reconstructions, joint replacements, balance problems, lower back and neck pain with peripheral nerve pain.

To further enhance her treatment programmes, Caitlan can use her ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage skills to provide professional hands-on treatments including adding myofascial release and muscle energy techniques to your treatment sessions. In a previous role, she had a lot of fun working with a semi professional football club and at many sporting events doing post-race massage work! As well,

For folks experiencing dizziness or giddiness, she can offer vestibular assessments and rehabilitation. This is aimed at folks with inner ear imbalances, BPPV (benign proximal positional vertigo) dizziness provoked by specific movements, and rehabilitation often involves graded exercises and guided exposure to provoking situations.

Upon completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher training course in 2016 in the USA, she had the delight of teaching groups and individuals in Minnesota, USA. A long time yogi herself, with an active home and studio practice of 13years, she has insight in treating other yogis to enhance their practice.

In my non-working life, I am planning a wedding with my partner Greg. On a rainy and windy day, she is usually found doing yoga or tramping some obscure part of the Devon coastline!
