ANTENATAL PREPARATION FOR LABOUR AND BIRTH

IMG_0439 - Version 2Congratulations on the imminent arrival of your baby!

Our antenatal workshop is a comprehensive and completely unbiased course to inspire and inform both you and your partner. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other couples and make good friends. One of the most important benefits will be a practical understanding of exactly how to utilise the knowledge you will both gain.

This workshop can be used as an adjunct to NCT or simply on its own.

‘The balance between medical procedures and instinct was unbiased. I believe this course is essential and required before becoming a parent. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of knowledge acquired and a relaxed friendly approach’ (Father).

About the Tutor

Gilly Nevin is a highly respected and experienced active birth teacher and birth doula. She has many years experience of attending and supporting women through pregnancy and labour.

“The aim is to help the birth partner remain clam and in a position to think ahead during the labour process. When this happens, a woman does not experience fear and is able to cope with even the most challenging moments of her labour. She then remembers the birth of her baby as a positive challenge and one she can recall with pride and joy.”
