Exeter physioOur Exeter Physio team can help those with injuries, illness or disabilities through the use of education and advice, manual therapy, movement and an individualised exercise prescription.
Physiotherapists represent the third largest health profession after doctors and nurses, and work within the NHS, the community and Private Practice. Physiotherapists take a whole-person approach to their patients’ health & wellbeing, incorporating the patient’s personal needs and goals.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy focuses on the assessment and treatment of muscle and joint pain, and aims to correct and restore movement & function, prevent injuries occurring and improve sports performance.

At your first appointment your Exeter Physio will ask you questions about the history of your condition then will perform a physical assessment which will include observation and special tests of your problematic area. This session usually lasts about an hour.
Follow up appointments will last approximately 30 or 45 minutes.
It is our aim for you to leave the session feeling educated about your condition so please feel free to ask any questions throughout your appointment.
